The waterfront gymnasium is an adventurous attempt to integrate advanced building technologies into architectural environments. Contemporary building systems are not limited to the structure and enclosure anymore. Building technologies are involved in every perspective, including passive and active climate control, natural and artificial lighting system, acoustics and other technical specifications. This project explores how building systems, construction and technology play a role in developing morphology in architecture.
